THIS VERY WORRYING AND WE WOULD ENCOURAGE ALL CONCERNED IN A FUTURE WHERE CHOICE IN WHAT WE PUT IN OUR BODIES SHOULD BE OUR DECISION AND NOT DECISION OF A MULTI-NATIONAL AGRO-CHEMICAL COMPANY TO SIGN THE PETITION.

Well as it is a year since Dow voluntarily withdrew their approval for aminopyralid they have over the last two months been working away at the Advisory Committee on Pesticides to

have the approvals reinstated. At a meeting of the ACP on 30 June the ACP recommended that the approvals be reinstated subject to strict conditions of the stewardship scheme being met. I was alerted to all of this at the end of last week and have been working with a guy from the allotments council and he has posted a petition at number 10.

I have written to the chair of the ACP accusing them of environmental terrorism should these approvals be granted. I have written to our MP asking him to support the campaign

I have written to the Soil Association asking them to make the biggest fuss they can muster over this one.
